Marie Meierhofer Institut for the child- MMI
The Marie Meierhofer Institute advocates good developmental and life conditions for young children. Particular focus is placed on the family, supplementary childcare and the environment in which children grow up in the broadest sense. The MMI was commissioned by a:primo to carry out the basic evaluation of schritt:weise as well as the evaluation of the alternative implementation models.
University of Education Bern
The University of Education Bern is one of the largest universities of teacher education in Switzerland. Its main objectives are research, development and evaluation. The outcomes of the project are used to provide additional training to teaching staff and flow into school and teaching practice. The evaluation of the pilot implementation of the early childhood development programme ping:pong is being carried out by the «research, development and evaluation» institute.
INTERFACE Politikstudien Forschung Beratung
INTERFACE Politikstudien Forschung Beratung (political studies, research, advice) is an independent, private company that works for public and private institutions (e.g. federal offices, cantonal and municipal administrations, NGOs etc.). Interface specialises in analysing the execution and effect of political measures and advice on planning, organisation and strategy. Interface was commissioned by a:primo to develop and evaluate an evaluation concept for schritt:weise in collaboration with ZeFF.
Universitäres Zentrum für frühkindliche Bildung Fribourg - ZeFF
The University Centre for Early Childhood Education Fribourg (ZeFF) sees itself as a driving force for the establishment of academic discourse on education in early childhood. The ZeFF offers an umbrella for innovative research and development projects that monitor and support the dynamics, the expansion and the qualification of education in early childhood in the various linguistic and cultural spaces in Switzerland.
Nederlands Youth Institute - NJI
The Netherlands Youth Institute wants to make a contribution to the optimal development of children and young people and to the improvement of their social and pedagogical context. The main objective of this centre of knowledge for specialists in the field of youth work lies in improving the quality and the effectiveness of the support and services for children, young people and their parents and carers. The Stap programme (the basis for schritt:weise) and the VVEThuis programme (the basis for ping:pong) were developed by the Netherlands Youth Institute.
